With just enough snow to run this year’s race, the trail was routed away from the Glacier and down the river bed. The trail was fast and smooth, until a few laps in. With over 30 racers on course and very few scratches, this year’s race was a fun one to watch. Special thanks to all the volunteers who sat out at the chilly, windy checkpoints. Also, thank you to the City of Valdez and council member Dorothy Moore, and the Best Western Harbor Inn for serving as our Race Headquarters for the second year in a row. We’ll see you in 2012!
